Magic that works with musical instruments, lizards the size of elephants, and a crumbling world with one teacher standing in the gap. Such a wonderful story idea, and super thankful to have been able to illustrate for Josiah DeGraaf's A Study of Shattered Spells.

I had great fun crafting unique symbolism for each of the five disciplines in the stories music-based magic system.
The sounds of the instruments work with the type of magic—a real challenge and joy to make visuals that match that too.
